Composite Layups

Across the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons I fabricated a wide range of body and chassis components by wet layup: body panels, the hood, the aero hoop, the seat, the pedal box, prop-shaft guards, and an eCVT case.

The 2025-2026 hood used 2×2 twill carbon fiber laid over fiberglass tooling carried forward from the previous year, vacuum-bagged for consolidation and a clean cosmetic finish.
